2. The Cultural Trap: "Tu" vs. "Vous" 🔒
In
France, choosing the right "You" is a sign of social awareness.
- TU (Tutoiement): Used for family,
friends, children, and close colleagues.
- VOUS (Vouvoiement): Used for strangers,
your manager (initially), clients, and elderly people. It is the primary
mark of professional respect.
3.
The "Magic" of the Pronoun "On" ✨
In
modern, everyday French, "Nous" is rarely used in
speech.
- Formal: "Nous allons au bureau." (We are going to the
office).
- Daily Life: "On va au bureau." (Same meaning, but sounds
natural).
- Grammar Tip: Even though it means
"We", "On" is always conjugated
like "Il/Elle" (3rd person singular).
4.

translate these common phrases using the pronouns above:

content. (నేను సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాను )
- You (plural/formal) are
here. Vous êtes ici. (మీరు ఇక్కడ ఉన్నారు )
- She speaks French. Elle parle français. (ఆమె ఫ్రెంచ్ మాట్లాడుతుంది )
- They (feminine group) are
late. Elles sont en retard. (వారు ఆలస్యంగా వచ్చారు)
